Love Notes

Welcome to Love Notes and Your Journey to Wellness.

Notes are used in the fragrance world and divided into categories of Top, citrus generally
middle, heart of the fragrance, generally floral
And base, the fixative or the oil that holds the blend together. Sandalwood, Oak Moss, Vétiver and Vanilla are examples of some base notes.

My intention is to help educate people in learning and creating information and knowledge on the healing benefits of essential oils and aromatherapy.

Essential oils are a potent form of herbal medicine that can shift energy, stagnation, congestion, hormonal imbalances among other uses.

Few know that essential oils can help specific body parts as nature truly intended.

For example, eucalyptus has many species, but the leaf of the plant generally represents the shape of a human lung; therefore, it is used for lung issues and congestion to name a few.

There are different properties and blending techniques for each oil. In this course we will learn basic blending, some fun recipes, to create a roll-on, a specific remedy blend and a body scrub.

Essential oils and fragrances have been used for centuries with a variety of purposes. Again nature plays out perfectly. If you notice near mortuaries or places to pay last respects, you will find cypress trees. One of the EOS (essential oils) used in emotional healing points for grief is guess what: cypress.

Many pharmaceuticals are synthesized from plant medicine. The healing parts of the plant are from seed, plant, berry and stem. A process called steam distillation helps produce the oils in their purest form.

Did you know:

  • Carrot seed oil is incredible for aging skin?
  • Sea buckthorn oil has natural sunscreen properties?
  • Rosemary is used with some Alzheimer’s patients to stimulate long-term memory.
  • Lavender was used during the plague in Europe by master glove and leather makers: think Hermes. The glove makers had the properties of the healing oil on their skin, and they were exposed to the same air and germs and never became ill.
  • Scent is our most primal sense. It is our first working sense at birth. Therefore it is directly linked to taste.
  • Carrier oils are used with high quality oils otherwise the properties of the oils are too intense.
  • We can use coconut, avocado, macadamia, olive and jojoba to name a few. Jojoba is commonly used because it has a pH similar to human sebum.

Please enjoy this course. Have fun and live your passion into one of the many modalities on the amazing journey of plant medicine and scent. I have been creating some form of concoctions since I was five years old.
